Working efficiently with Fikus
How to know the dimensions of the material needed to machine a part in Fikus CAD-CAM software
In order to carry out the machining of a part like the one shown in the figure on right (or bellow), we must be able to know the size of the material required.
We should do the following steps so we can do it very quickly:
1. Open the file where we have the part to be machined
Selecting all the geometry
2. We should select the entire geometry, either by clicking with the mouse or by pressing the right button of the mouse and choose the option "Select all"
3. In the second box on the Fast Editing Bar we can see the dimensions of the part (X, Y y Z)
